The Challenge

Building the new website and creating the branding for Hadrian’s History Tours was a varied project that also included designing their logo and an information leaflet. Initially, we had meetings with Katie and Claire to understand what they wanted to achieve and the uniqueness of their historical tours business.

This groundwork ensured that our designs for the logo, printed material, and ultimately the final website would not only be visually striking, but effective in conveying their message and the historical richness of their tours. We created several logo design options and initial drafts of the information leaflet, incorporating their feedback at each stage. This process allowed Katie and Claire to provide input and request adjustments, ensuring the designs were right.

To ensure the final website and related materials would meet Katie and Claire’s expectations, we developed draft pages for them to review. These included mock-ups of the homepage, tour descriptions, and a contact section, each designed with user-friendly navigation in mind. We received positive feedback on the drafts and proceeded with the design and development of the one-page website.

We began to build a site that was visually engaging and easy to manage. Key features included detailed descriptions of tours, high-quality images, customer testimonials, a detailed FAQs section, and a contact form to inquire about specific tours or give details of a bespoke tour that the customer required.

Throughout the process, we maintained close communication with Katie and Claire, ensuring their satisfaction at every stage. The final launch of the site went smoothly with both Katie and Claire expressing their happiness with the professional look, functionality, and user-friendly experience of their new website
